Why Pressure Is the Wrong Tool Here
If a company shows up to wash your house with a pressure wand, call someone else. High pressure forces water behind siding and into stucco, strips paint, and leaves lap marks you will be looking at for years. Soft washing uses low pressure and the right detergent, applied with enough dwell time to kill algae and mildew at the root. The growth comes off; the surface doesn't. We clean stucco, vinyl and composite siding, painted block and wood, brick, soffit and fascia, gutter exteriors, screen enclosures and lanais, and exterior windows and frames.
Why Florida Homes Need It, and How Often
Shade and humidity are the whole story in Central Florida. North-facing walls, anything under a tree, and any wall that stays damp after an afternoon storm will grow algae — first as faint green streaking, then as black staining that stops coming off easily. Most homes here want this done every twelve to eighteen months; heavy shade may need it annually, a sun-exposed home might stretch to two years.
